Over the past year, Silver is up almost 200%, Gold is up almost 100%, and Bitcoin – – for all its risk – – has thrown off less than a passbook savings account at your local bank.

Rivian. Again.
I look at thousands of charts per week, and in this insane market, the only non-precious metals related item that appeals to me on the long side is Rivian (RIVN), the electric truck maker. I had decent success with RIVN last year and I re-entered it this morning at $18.90 with a stop at $18.25.
Echos in the Mall
When I was in my teens, going to the mall was the thing to do. I was never into shopping, but since I had a girlfriend, we probably went to the mall at least once or twice a month. How times have changed! Department stores are dying. Costco and Sam’s Club? Let’s go there and buy a huge vat of mayonnaise!
