I pointed out a couple of days ago that JC Penney had broken a three-decade old trendline. JCP bounced yesterday, but it’s plunging again today, even worse than before.
I would submit to you that it won’t be long before Sears weakens as well. The zeitgeist for completely outdated stores that were really big in the 1950s will not be a positive one.
