Strolling Philly

Again, Happy Independence Day, Slopers. I am in Philadelphia for a while, and this morning, as I am wont to do, I strolled around early in the morning on a quest for a (medium-sweet) chai. I’ll say this about Philadelphia: they love their dogs. That’s apparent. So thumbs up for that. Here are a few photos from this morning. First, appropriately enough, here is the Second Bank of the United States (precursor to our Federal Reserve).

Here’s Carpenter’s Hall, where the First Continental Congress met. I truly felt like I was walking on hallowed ground, just being in this place.
