I’m not a football guy (now THAT is an understatement), but I have been around computers since 1979, so I find their evolution to be pretty interesting. With John Madden’s passing, I was curious if there was a video to show how much the Madden Football series has changed over time. I found one, and it’s jaw-dropping. If you just want to spend a few seconds on it, just watch the beginning (1988) and then scroll to near the end. It’s absolutely astonishing.
Oh, and if you want to feel REALLY old, take a look at this video (scroll to about the middle where the guy is actually showing it); when I was in grade school, this was the COOLEST toy to own………….which is just a notch about stone knives and bear skins.
