I’ll admit it, seeing these charts of the Dow Industrials and Dow Transports sends chills through me. I’ve marked the breakout points with green tint. (Note: I composed this a few hours ago and would note, with some interest, that it’s intriguing how much red I’m seeing right now, after the blow-out response regarding Microsoft).
This may go a long way in explaining why the VIX has been beaten into the teens and isn’t even showing a pulse.
For obvious reasons, this song is appropriate.
