It appears equity markets didn’t get the memo that this was a really big deal. The chart since yesterday resembles the EKG of a corpse.
I will say, however, that the “path to parity” I keep touting appears to have turned the page to a new chapter. The green tint, I would suggest, represents substantial overhead supply, and the Euro seems well positioned to keep evaporating down to the oh-so-easy-to-convert 1-for-1 value with the US dollar.
