I will keep this piece brief today Slope-a-Dopes, much to your delight I'm sure, as quite frankly, I am getting rather sick & tired of you malfunctioning maggots senselessly momo pumping this pipe dream into the stratosphere. So, before I get all medieval on your sorry pump-monkey asses, a la carved Charles Manson style, let's slice & dice our way to the chase. The deadly serious sadistic Sequester is now at hand, and there will most assuredly be dark pools of type A blood and shredded U.S. guts left on the Senate's magnificently tiled floor. Well, my fellow Slope-a-Dopes, your selfless Idiotic Savant servant, whom is securely chained to his desk, has spent a significant part of the long weekend, perusing nearly every finance blog on the world wide web for you. Therefore, I can reliably report to the SOH, that the overwhelming consensus out there in the financial blogosphere, which has now reached a nearly universal feverish pitch, is boldly & proudly heralding that a most encouraging new economic dawn is finally upon us. It seems, a pristine permanent plateau of prosperity has been patently perfected.

The main story told about Icarus is his attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. He ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, and the melting wax caused him to fall into the sea where he drowned. The myth is taken as a tragic example of hubris or failed ambition, and is often depicted in art.
TK asked me if I could help out this weekend, and put together an EP for Sunday. Apparently, he's all tied up in some dark, drab, dingy basement, somewhere in New England, doing God knows what. Whatever it is, let's hope it's rated triple XXX for his sake.
