As I wrote this morning before the opening bell, I went to bed terribly nervous on Wednesday night. I woke up to red quotes, however, so Thursday looked like it was going to be an absolute blast, but in the end, I wound up with simply a modest profit instead of a wheelbarrow of cash. Here are the average ages of the continents of the world. As you can see, there are a gazillion kids being born in Africa, whereas Europe decided to stop reproducing decades ago.
I can tell you from personal observation that, for skiing, this winter has absolutely sucked. We had two giant dumps, but overall, it’s been warm and dry, which makes for a crummy ski season. This is true all over the west.
