It’s clear that the insipid October 13th-February 2nd counter-trend rally is busted, and worldwide stocks have totally stalled out as bulls the world over pray to whatever false gods they worship that equities soar to new highs for no reason in particular.

After getting absolutely wrecked in 2022, small caps spent about a month, starting January 6th, roaring to life. Some of them threw off triple-digit percentage gains. Over the past week, however, they seem to have lost their mojo, as illustrated by the /RTY futures. I’ve circled the lower highs that have taken place since last Thursday.

In spite of, oh, just about every day since October 13th, hope springs eternal in the bearish breast. I offer below seven ETF charts that I think speak well to great promise for the ursine set.
