Over the course of my trading career, such as it is, I have had hundreds of fabulous opportunities I’ve let slip through my hands. Most of the time it was out of fear, but part of the time it was simply because, nice as the chart was, it wasn’t good to trade. For instance, the options on it either don’t exist or absolutely stink. Below is one such chart (symbol GCO) which is acting absolutely terrific (and which I’ve followed for months), but I am nothing more than an interested and disgruntled bystander as I watch it.
