Can you believe the Japanese stock market was worth MORE than that of the United States? Yeah, we’ve kind of become “that guy” now – – laughably overvalued for decades to come.

Here’s an interesting illustration on the societies that are relatively honest and trustworthy and those which are disgustingly corrupt and doomed. There seems to be a strong correlation between English-speaking nations and the relative lack of corruption. Let’s just say it’s not a good idea to jaunt over to Somalia with your business idea.

Here’s an interesting graphic which illustrates how, in Japan, the working age population (lower portion of graph) is having to bear the burden of an increasingly large older, non-working population (upper portion). Japanese are known for their longevity, and this pretty much spells demographic doom.
