I’m not a truck guy. I’ve never owned a truck. I’ve never needed a truck. On Friday, I went “all in” for one of my portfolios in IEF, the medium-term bond fund. The saucer setup is absolutely magnificent, and I wanted something conservative, long, and well-formed for this particular portfolio.
I first wrote about palladium (specifically, the PALL fund) precisely eight months ago, and it is up 20% since then. The thing is, I think that 20% is just the first baby step in YEARS of price gains to come, at least relative to equities.
