Blacklisting Stanford is a Cakewalk
Perhaps you’ve heard that Stanford University – – the school that doesn’t dare fire Professor Bankman and Professor Fried out of abject terror of offending any community – – has banned a variety of everyday words since they are offensive. So don’t you dare say, write, or think ANY of these, or ELSE:

- Landlord
- American
- Blacklist
- Victim
- Peanut Gallery
Also, if for some reason the word “prostitute” comes into a conversation you are having, you are required to refer to them as “person who engages in sex work.”
Spock!
I had never seen this before, but this was the commercial they used back in 1966 to introduce the new program called Star Trek. Seeing Spock described merely as “a stranger with no heart”, I am compelled to throw something at the screen! Who came up with THAT character description?!?!
