Slope of Hope Blog Posts
Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. Fallow Tesla
The three solid months, Tesla has been stuck in a wide range of prices from $620 to $845, and we’re very near the top of it now. I strongly suspect it’s out of gas at this point, due to the mountain of overhead supply.

Supertrain!
Well here’s a bit of 1970s kitsch I had never heard of in my life: Supertrain.
This was a short-lived flop on NBC back in 1979. From what I can tell, the pitch meeting went something like this:
“So you know what a smash hit Love Boat is, right?? So what we’ll do is the same thing, except we’ll change the method of transportation. We’ll put it on a train!”
And that’s precisely what they did. Here is the introduction. Brace yourself for character actors that are massively overdoing it for the camera. It looks absolutely dreadful.
Streaming Tonight
It wasn’t that long ago that the Netflix earnings report was one of the biggest events of the earnings season, almost right up there with the likes of Apple. Having lost 77% of its value (!!!) in a matter of months, Netflix has gone from hero to almost-zero. All the same, it’s the biggest item on tonight’s earnings docket.

Cramer vs. Cramer
I didn’t know this until the weekend, but evidently Jim Cramer has rung the opening bell on the NYSE at least three times now. This, quite clearly, was an opportunity for the Event Markers feature in SlopeCharts.
