12 Angry Slopers

There are rare occasions when I’m alone for a few days, and I normally make use of this surplus time by:

  1. Working on Slope even more than I normally do;
  2. Taking on some big house project and/or obsessively cleaning;
  3. Watching a classic movie I’ve never seen before.

Well, I’ve been doing all three of these things in the past few days, and the classic movie I just watched for the first time in my life was 12 Angry Men, which is about two-thirds of a century old. Each of the twelve actors who comprised the jury are dead now (with Jack Klugman, funny enough, being the longest to survive – – he died a decade ago on Christmas Eve) but the drama could absolutely be portrayed today with no change in content.

Love Lines

Sigh. OK, I’ll preface this once again and say that I have been in a so-called mixed-race couple my entire adult life, so that’s my disclaimer for not coming off as a total douchebag. Having offered that free pass, I’ll say once again that it’s becoming ridiculous how every single commercial, advertisement, and movie is going super-Woke. Check out this latest movie from Amazon. Kindly note the ecstatically happy couples are “mixed” (black/white on the left and Asian/black on the right) whereas the miserable ones in the middle are the oh-so-terrible white/white couple. Just sayin’ it’s getting kind of obvious.
