Well, folks, here are the predictions for where the S&P will be at the end of 2025.
On two things you can rely: (1) there has never been an analyst in the history of the world that has ever predicted anything but substantial gains (2) every single one of them will be wrong.
So, 7100 on the S&P, eh? Okay!

Allow me to present to you over a third of a century of volatility data, which is everything I’ve got to show. I have tinted all the instances in which doe-eyed complacency has been at, or lower, than the risible present price levels. My point is simple. This will not sustain. It never has.

Bitcoin, as surely you must know by now, blasted above $100,000 yesterday evening. It had tried late last month to cross the magical Big Round Number (red oval) but failed to do so rather spectacularly. This time, is strapped on its rocket boosters and ripped thousands of dollars higher within minutes.

Well, here we are again. The VIX is barely hanging on to the teens. This is the low part of the range for the year. Think this might be a good time for a bit of a surprise?
