Due to an epic screw-up by a hired hand, some of you got a notice that your account was cancelled. This is inaccurate. Your account and all its data are untouched (if anything seems off, email me, but by all accounts, things seem fine). I am sorry to waste a post on this topic, but I wanted to reassure folks.

There are three implausible items I would like to mention which are all related.
Item #1: in spite of thousands of people coming through here every week, I’ve only received one email to tone down the politics and return to a Slope free from the bashing of you-know-you.
Item #2: it sometimes only takes one email to really get my attention, particularly when it’s thoughtfully written by a person whose opinion I respect.
Item #3: I’ve decided to do something about this immediately.

All right, friends, I’ve taken another shot at this. Bitcoin seems to have conked its head against the resistance horizontal and is sporting a good-looking shooting star right now.
