Saturday Afternoon (by Nathaniel Goodwin)

By -

As I was shoveling snow from my driveway on Saturday afternoon, a car pulled up and some guy got out with a shovel and started digging out the heavy snow/slush from the bottom of the driveway. I walked down to thank him for his help, and couldn't believe my eyes. It was Bill Murray; that's right BILL F*CKING MURRAY, one of my all time favorite actors!

We finished shoveling the driveway, and I invited him in for dinner. Bill is a classy guy, he did all of the dishes after dinner. Mom and grandma both said that I should strive to be half a man as Bill. For once, I agree with them.

After all of that, Bill and I started chatting and I started showing him some charts. I told him that I was was heavily short right now, and pretty nervous after Friday's close. I got a large position of TZA on Friday, and really didn't like how the RUT closed.

Bill looked at some of my charts and pointed out the SPX daily chart. He said that it didn't look very bullish to him at all, and that I should relax. "If the SPX crashes, the RUT will follow," he said.

"Look at how explosive all the rallies have been after each nice decline," Bill said, "This current grind up looks much more corrective than the past rallies off of the declines this past year. I don't think it looks very bullish at all."

Bill Murray is awesome, he always makes me feel better when I see him on film or in person. When he left; he looked at me and said, "No one will ever believe you."
