This market is just sad. How I long for the days when there was insane volatility and mayhem. There were days that the daily range of the S&P was one-hundred freakin’ points (at much lower levels than today!)
The market we have now has been so battered into submission by the Fed that those dynamics are dead and buried. We now have days like today, in which the difference between the open and the close is a miserable two points. Two. Stinking. Points.
I hope to God the jobs report tomorrow morning unleashes the Kraken and sends interest rates soaring skyward.
