As a new month is here, I wanted to update my grades for my ideas offered on the Slope+ service. As a reminder……
I go through all my Slope+ posts and rate them. I leave out the ones that only express a general market opinion, contain a lengthy video, or otherwise weren’t easily “rateable” with respect to how they turned out.
As for the rest, I gave myself a rating between 1 (terrible) to 10 (fantastic), and all of these references are on this link, which is accessible to everyone. I intend to keep this spreadsheet up-to-date at the start of each new month, but I’m going to have it “lag” by a full month, since it would obviously be silly to promptly share the details of Slope+ posts with non-paying readers. Thus, the spreadsheet is presently up-to-date through August’s end. At the end of this month, I’ll update for the September posts.
My lifetime grade has inched up from 7.49 last month to 7.55 this month. Precious-metals shorts and XLU were the big winners, and they continue to do well. I had a few duds, but no total stinkers.

I thought everyone would like to see this effort at transparency. I think it helps provide some insight as to the kinds of suggestions I offer as well as to how they’ve panned out.
