Tesla Getting Near a Bounce
Let me start by saying a few things:
- I think it’s going to be a long, long time before TSLA gets above its high of $195.40 this year;
- The stock is basically a short-seller’s dream at this point, since ultimately I think it’s going to work its way back down to $45 or so;
- But at the moment, I think it’s probably not going to get much lower than about $128, plus or minus a few bucks, before bouncing back to around $160 (more…)
Smoking a CIG
One short that’s been “veddy veddy good to me” is Companhia Energ, a Brazilian firm whose chart is shown below. The topping pattern is massive, and I’m simply updating the stop day to day.

What a strange looking glass world we live in nowadays. The NFP figures strongly beat 204 vs 148 expected this morning and this good news prompted a strong immediate decline on ES, as good employment numbers make QE tapering more likely and therefore are bearish for equities. (more…)
