Yesterday, I did two insane things: I shorted Tesla, and I wrote about it. The guffaws and admonitions were predictable. I covered the short with a profit where the green arrow is indicated below. The red arrows indicate where I shorted it yesterday………and newly today:
My view is that the good news is pretty much out there. You’ve had the insane price targets from big banks, the gigafactory, the flying autonomous robots, the hovercrafts, the successful mission to Mars that Elon just completed………..the whole schmear. And, looking at the longer-term chart, it doesn’t exactly scream Amazingly Cheaply Priced.
