Warren Edward Buffett seems to have a virtual shrine, even here on Slope, where anyone questioning his wonderfulness is questioned. I’m the first to admit the man is clearly an investing genius, a generous philanthropist, and seems like a pretty awesome guy………BUT………
Why the everlasting fixation on him? Take a look at the chart below of Berkshire stock versus the stock market in general. Not much of a difference, is there? And this is from a man who scored all kinds of amazing deals during the depths of the financial crisis. Where’s the outsized payout? I just don’t see it.
