I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I don’t know why on Earth I waste a moment of time or emotional energy looking at the Weekend Wall Street quotes. I bet Elliott Wave is better at forecasting the future than this crap.
I guess I got fixated on it back in the glory days of a few months ago, when it would show the Dow down 1500 points (or whatever) and we could excitedly anticipated the real open. Lately, though, it’s garbage. This weekend, it was down about 50 points, more or less, all weekend. An hour before the open, it was down 17. And then, BLAMMO, the moment the real market opens, it adjusts. Totally, totally stupid.
In any case, it’s nice to see the that risible explosion in prices from Friday, thanks to virtually a declaration of war against China, has been undone. For now, at least. With that god-damned bastard, son of a bitch Powell pulling the strings, God knows. I’ve never hated a man more. I hope he dies alone and afraid. And, while in hell, realizes what he’s done to humanity.
Anyway.
There’s no real point to this post. I just had to vent my spleen about WWS. I’ve got to break this habit. It’s pointless.
On a brighter note, be prepared for plenty of awesomeness from Slope in June. My team and I are going to be kicking ass.
I shall now return to reading my Sunday paper.
