You would think I would have had any lingering naivete squeezed out by now, but apparently not: I had hoped yesterday’s firm declaration by the POTUS that all talks were terminated about this “stimulus” package until after the election was sincere. Nope. Within hours, he threw the door wide open again. Banking on this guy’s word is probably, ya know, misguided. The lion’s share of the drop yesterday has been eradicated.

So I’ve got nothing at all new to say about these “markets” of ours. We’ve got 27 days left until the election, which is going to be here before we know it. Tonight is the one and only VP debate, which I will watch with interest. Slopers, please, the atmosphere around here has improved so much lately – – don’t let tonight’s debate rekindle political rivalries. Let’s keep playing nice. It feels a lot better for one and all.

The Mobile App continues to thrive, with downloads aplenty for both the Google and Apple versions. One of you wrote to me and pointed out that, in SlopeCharts, since one doesn’t have a right-click mouse, there’s no way to delete drawings on a chart. He suggested that we add a Delete All Drawings menu choice as a way to get around this. Done, sir!

We continue to dedicate virtually all our engineering time to virtual trading (which, I pray God is the right choice in the end!) Virtual Traders, there are a variety of small improvements that should make a meaningful difference in your experience (and congrats to red-headed Renee, who is kicking our collective butts with her virtual profits!)

Good luck out there today. And, and once again, a friendly reminder, if any of you mobile app folks are confused as to where the comments are hiding, ya need to click here!
