Well, I’ve been watching the Georgia results throughout the evening. How shall I put this? It’s, umm, not a landslide for anyone.
It looks like it’ll be about a half-day more before the smoke clears, but the market doesn’t really seem to be giving any clear clues. On the one hand, the Russell thinks things are just peaches-and-cream:
Okay, that took some doing, but the Best Posts Ever page is complete. I’m probably going to come up with one more category and shuffle some posts around, but the content is all there. I honestly hope you take a look around. I mean, how many financial sites have a segment dedicated to “Death“?
As many problems as the U.S. has, it still has freedom of speech, which I cherish. Just look at the countries below. People think we’re in one world, but we’re not. The concept of “Western Society” is still very real, as the concentration of oppressive, intrusive, horrific governments is all clustered in a very specific part of the planet.
There is an important new page on Slope, which is this one. In a way, this page took over a decade to put together, since it represents what I consider some of the very best content from the site over the years. This will be a permanent part of the site, accessed from the Read menu, and I’ll update it on occasion as other important posts make the grade. Enjoy!
