Even setting aside the federal holiday, it is a stark desert when it comes to economic reports; absolutely nothing of important is going on until the FOMC two Wednesdays from now.
At least we’ve got earnings kicking in. And, the week after, between the Fed and all the really cool companies reporting earnings, it’s going to be a tidal wave of news and excitement. As for earnings this week, it’s not thrilling, but it’s getting decent:
