Some of you didn’t know this, but we finally had our huge SlopeFest event today, where hundreds of us gathered to meet each other, talk about charts, and have a good time. I had a professional photographer on hand, and wanted to share a couple of snapshots.

Within the past week, the regional bank ETF symbol KBE broken its major trendline. This was positive news for the bears of the world (AKA me, Baby Bear, TNR, and four other people). This positive news has gone super-positive, as the H&S topping pattern of KBE is now complete. Banks are screwed and tattooed. It couldn’t happen to a nicer group.
I’ve been tilting at this windmill recently, and I think I finally got it right.
Here’s what the chart looks like, having been repelled by the broken trendline. Keep in mind, this stock P/E of 223.
(more…)Well, the that’s-so-2005 Facebook is clearly an utterly broken stock. After its 50% plunge in value, it went through the preposterous counter-trend rally of March 15-29 and now is succumbing to reality once again. I would not be shocked if this was a double-digit stock in a year.
