As a content provider since I was a teenager, I have what I believe is a keen appreciation for freedom of the press and freedom of speech. Particularly when you’re someone as opinionated as me, it’s vitally important, and frankly, I didn’t really appreciate it enough until my visit to Thailand. Nothing bad happened to me, but even being TOLD that saying anything bad about their philandering, useless king could land a person in prison made me absolutely sick. I don’t quite understand why the U.S. is considered to be not-very-free in the map below, but suffice it to say I am grateful – – grateful to the heavens above!!! – – that I live in a country where I can express myself without fear.
