There are many trite phrases one could use to describe U.S. equities right here. Here are a few: It’s a mixed bag. The jury is still out. Your guess is as good as mine. And so forth. From what I can see, there are some important indexes which have absolutely completed important topping patterns, and there are some others that have some more work to do. In a gross, repulsive way, that was kind of a fun day, wasn’t it? Absolutely madcap. Regrettably, I think it’s going to be par for the course this week. We are at a massive inflection point, and there is a pitched battle going on. The bulls aren’t simply going to lay down their weapons and walk away. This is going to be blood sport.
I was intrigued to learn that Hummer is being re-introduced as an electric vehicle, and they’re already pre-sold out for years to come. “Electric Hummer” seems like an oxymoron, sort of like “accurate Federal Reserve forecast”, “happy ARK investor”, or “excellent Jim Cramer investment idea”, but it’s real.
