I’ve Been a Bad Boy
Abbott Labs (ABT) has been a short candidate here on Slope for many weeks. Because I’m an idiot, I got out of ABT yesterday, and today it is plunging. At least I benefited from its drop, obliquely, by way of my XLV puts. I’d say ABT is far from being done falling.
Slope Yellow Jackets: WRONG!
I guess when bullishness is running rampant, you can expect this kind of thing, even on Slope. I was personally amazed how lopsided the voting was (and, yes, I voted Down).
Can’t Wait for Tomorrow
Of my 30 positions, the one that probably sounds the most boring is Alcoa. They make freakin’ cans and aluminum foil. But it’s my largest position, and after earnings came out this afternoon, it’s the #1 loser in after hours trading. Huzzah!
