Anyone here who isn’t 100% short is dumber than even me. Why? Simple:

  1. My self-confidence is totally in tatters;
  2. I have sheepishly fled back to a 50%+ cash position;
  3. I have only 18 open positions;
  4. My account has been gang-raped over the past eight trading days

Thus, today was the PERFECT time to sell your children and put the proceeds into puts. I present as evidence what is happening at this very moment to these high-tech giants, none of which I have positions in (again, obviously)………….

Post-Close Earnings

The next three days are going to be the center-of-the-meat when it comes to Q3 earnings reports. Below are five of the largest, most important reports tumbling out after the close. I have no positions in any of these, although I’ve got to say, Visa (V) looks like of enticing. Please remember that there are some great tools in the Earnings sub-menu of the Equities menu, so check those out.
