The murderous Chinese Communists – – who, in spite of being directly responsible for the deaths of 40-60 million of their citizens and yet still worship Mao like a God – – like to pretend to be businessmen. They are having their Congress right now, as they enshrine Chairman Xi as the new Mao, and as you’ve doubtless read, they are deliberately delaying any economic data until later, so as not to spoil the fun. In spite of this, the market is basically recognizing that Chinese stocks suck out loud, and their bear market has been merciless. I’m genuinely jealous. Let’s have the U.S. market have the same kind of wipeout! It would be a total blast:

I have good news about my IYR trade that I’ve lamented endlessly for months: it expires on Friday, and I’ve deleted it from my spreadsheet, so I won’t have to burden you with any more “oh, what COULD have been” wails anymore. We’ll all just admit it went up 666% (seriously) after I dumped it, and that’s that.

My “new” IYR, which I hope I don’t screw up, is health care, XLV. I love this diamond top.

Netflix isn’t going to save you.

Over the past few trading days, the entire investing world has flipped completely bullish, so much so that even my beloved Slope has become infested with its own version of yellow jackets, which are the $0-paying freeloaders who declare that the bear market is dead and it’s going to be straight up, at the very least, through the end of the year. These people, to me, are as complicit as the criminals they got us here in the first place. They are Fed cheerleaders, and it’s clear to me just how few true bears there are here. Probably something like five, grand total. So it isn’t just me. There are four others. Tops.

Given the NFLX, ISRG, and UAL fodder these closet permabulls were given last night, I’m sure they were expecting the /ES to be up another triple digits this morning, but things seem to be sputtering already. “Up through end of December” my ass.
