As most of you know, over the course of the past month, SlopeTalk has gone from a totally dead and abandoned project to a resurrected product that is a super-cool new way to communicate. I wanted to mention some of the things we’re working on behind the scenes (in between fixing new problems we have created):
- Polls whose results automatically update in front of your eyes in real time;
- Ability to paste graphics directly into comment entry;
- Restoration of the Comments Search function;
- Ability to right-click from list of users to get more features;
- Ability to right-click from list of posts to learn more about them;
- Be able to see who in the Users list is actively typing a message
Broadly speaking, once all the basics are in place, I want to expand Talk’s integration with the entire site. I’m having great fun with this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I think you will. Here’s an original DALL-E artwork to commemorate our progress:
