I’m sometimes convinced I’m the only honest person left on the planet (although I realize there are some Slopers, particularly premium members, who can make the same claim). In recent years, we’ve been flooded with:
- Covid loan scams;
- YouTube stock huckster scams (“stonks only go up”);
- Get-rich-quick come-on artists all over the web;
- And the granddaddy of them all, hundreds of billions stolen during the ridiculous CARES multi-trillion dollar aid package a few years ago, such as PPP schemes
Basically, the flood of easy money from trash like Janet Yellen has created an entire generation of criminals, or at least people imbued with a get-rich-quick mindset. The population has become shallow, degenerate, and shamelessly venal.
Even those who get caught and thrown into prison don’t learn their lesson. Below are two convicted swindlers (flanking the middle bearded dude) who were, for reasons I can only imagine, pardoned by Trump. They were let right off the hook, even though they were convicted felons.
The scumbag on the right is Eliyahu Weinstein, a lifelong fraudster and criminal who HAD been sentenced to something like a quarter century in prison until Trumpy let him free. Well, in spite of that incredible favor, apparently he went RIGHT back to his money-stealing lifestyle, and the SEC caught him (again!) as described here.
I mean, look at him. Can you imagine anyone actually trusted this tub of shit?
What’s particularly sickening is that, in the wake of Trumpy forgiving this dickhead, he had the audacity to declare, piously:
Yeah, shithead. You worship money. End of story. You will die alone and unloved.
Anyway, I got to thinking about all of this because of the chap below, who has you can see was quite rightly beaten and tortured to a pulp. Only AFTER he got the tune-up did he decide to say that, gosh darn it, what he did was sure naughty, and by gum, he wanted to make things right. Take a look!
