One of the most horrifying parts of San Francisco is known as Civic Center. So much so, that when I wanted to write about the epicenter of lawlessness in my dystopian novel Solid State, I used Civic Center as my setting. I therefore found it unintentionally amusing that SF’s mayor tweeted this out:
You can imagine the response………
Although some were more serious.
Of course, the Mayor isn’t going to touch a comment like that with a ten-foot syringe.
