Bourbon Bear Bar

Slope initially began as a blog, so this is where most of the website’s content resides. Here we have tens of thousands of posts dating back over a decade. These are listed in reverse chronological order. Click on any category icon below to see posts tagged with that particular subject, or click on a word in the category cloud on the right side of the screen for more specific choices.

Last week, I did a post called Energy Bear which suggested going bearish against the oil and gas sector fund, XOP. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that, as your world-class chartist, I was completely right, and XOP has been punched in the face every single day since my post.

I’d like you to change to a different sorting method and – – well – – let me know if it didn’t work! The polite term for this is “field testing.” Anyway, it should work fine, and I hope you folks appreciate this little improvement.
Whoops! I mentioned yesterday our cool new options table were open to all, and we accidentally set them to Platinum only! This has been fixed so, once again, I encourage you to give them a try (which I’ve named, more dramatically, Extreme Options).
