Conoco Phillips gave me a good scare this morning, blasting its shares higher. It apparently doesn’t realize what a wreck the economy is going to be worldwide. Did I bail? Let me put it this way: I increased my bearish position by 25%, selling into the strength.
Wingstop (WING) is a crappy restaurant chain which I suggested as a bearish position last year. I bought puts, made a nice profit, but then dumped them like Tom Lee skipping across a pink-festooned stage at a spring fashion show.

Greetings from California (the Northern part, which isn’t on fire). It occurred to me that I am in the midst of seven consecutive weeks of interruptions. Starting in December we had Christmas, then New Years, then Mourning, then travel, then MLK, then travel, and then travel again. Insane! I guess it’s hard for me to garner the kind of respect I have for Juneteenth toward these lesser events.
