Here’s a dismal map: the percentage of people in each state that is living on social security. It’s about one-fifth of everyone, suckling on a system which was bankrupt long ago but has been kept afloat by fearful politicians. Look out for yourself; no one else will.
I put Duke to bed every night, and since his bedtime is earlier than mine, I tend to read a lot while being near him. Last night, I stumbled upon a favorite play of mine, Waiting for Godot, and I was reminded what a strong grip this tragicomedy has on me. I had to watch the whole thing again, since it is such a rich work of art.
Back in my post on 11th April I called the likely start of a strong rally which we then saw.
Back in my post on 12th May I called for new all time highs on Bitcoin (BTCUSD) and laid out possible IHS scenarios on both Solana (SOLUSD) and Ethereum (ETHUSD), looking for ideal right shoulder lows on Solana in the 125.43 area and on Ethereum in the 2074.27 area. That hasn’t gone quite as I drew then but essentially Solana is still running that scenario, and Ethereum has already reached the IHS target.
Back in my post on 23rd June I called the likely lows on those right shoulders made on Solana at 126.09 and on Ethereum at 2113.65, and was looking for that IHS scenario on both to start to play out.

My only options position right now is puts on DIA, so naturally I watch the /YM futures closely. They were down a little pre-open, but the moment the bell rang, they exploded higher for No Particular Reason ™. Just as suddenly, they did a hairpin turn south and plunged triple digits.
Everyone’s on edge about tomorrow’s absolutely meaningless interest rate drop, which I think is going to be one of the “Buy the Rumor/Sell the News” events of all time.
