Except for a brief Covid slump, Uber’s growth has been an unstoppable phenomenon:

A close friend of mine had the opportunity to invest in Uber when it was a startup, but he decided against it. That’s got to sting. All I’ve got to say is that buses (yes, buses) remain the stupidest thing on the planet. Palo Alto should shit-can every bus it uses and replace them with self-driving cars. It’ll happen eventually, but in the meanwhile, they’ll get driving these giant, empty buses and pissing billions away.
