G-III Apparel (symbol GIII) is one of those stocks that I have followed for months, wanted to be short, but never did so, principally because their options stink. I love cyclic behavior, so I’ll at least tip my hat to this chart since GIII is behaving exactly as I supposed it might (albeit not making me a penny for the reason already cited).
If you’re curious what kind of “apparel” they make, here’s a sample below. I’d like to nominate this garment as the required uniform any time any of us are using the Slope of Hope. They’re hard to seeing, but the pattern is adorned by dozens of skulls and crossbones. That’s bad-ass!
Oh, and as far as the bounce we’re seeing right now – – DISAPPOINTED!!! – – but relieved I at least got a golden opportunity to G.T.F.O. of my September 16th SPY options at good profits. I think I’m going to swear off those short-dated things from now on. Too stressful!
