Sounds like a heavy title for a post, doesn’t it? Fear not! It is just a new improvement in our Options Chart page. Now, when you’ve marked a point at which you Bought an option, you can mouse over it and see what the change-to-date is, based on the most recent price. Here, for instance, is my lovely profit on those NVO puts:
If you are looking at an archived trade in which you have both a Bought and a Sold, then mousing over the Bought will show you whatever the “closed” profit (or loss!) was between those two points.
And, for those like me who cannot help but look in the rearview mirror, you can also, in this instance, mouse over the Sold and realize you should have just held on to the damned thing!
