Weekend Index Update
Over the past week, the balance of power tilted ever-so-slightly toward the bears. Broadly speaking, the market has been range-bound for nearly half a year, and the levels of support and resistance have been clearly defined. The longer this takes, the more explosive the breakout or breakdown will be.
The NASDAQ Composite shows this range quite plainly in the tinted zone.

This map illustrates the likelihood of a man having a friendship with a woman. I guess it’s no surprise that the closer one gets to the world of Islam, the more men shun women. They have each other, though, I guess.
China’s Long-Term Downtrend
This one chart says it all: it is the continuous contract of the Hang Seng Index Futures. The downtrend is clear as can be, and a major “lower high” has just completed.
