This afternoon, Apple reports. Unlike most tech companies, which send out the information about one millisecond after the close, Apple does its little prima donna schtick and waits a good, long time before deigning to share their latest results with us. From time to time, I mention how even I forget some of the features and goodies that have been built here on Slope since 2005. This happened to me again today, when I glanced at this menu item and thought, “what does THAT do?”
As we move into the part of the earnings season which is actually interesting, the big feature tonight is Netflix (NFLX). Here is the recent history, in which two prior tops didn’t really amount to anything, so I’m not so sure the third one will either. If we do fall, major support doesn’t exist until that supporting trendline defining the lower boundary of the price channel.
