A couple of days ago, I did a post for my Slope+ readers about buying XLU calls. I paid 80 cents for the calls, and now, two days later, they are trading at $1.60. I did not expect a 100% gain on these so swiftly, but suffice it to say I’m enamored of interest-rate sensitive items. (more…)

When Will Gold Exhaust Itself?
In the span of just a couple of days – April 12 and 15 – gold plunged tremendously, and in the TEN days it has had to repair the damage, it’s only managed to undo the drop from the 15th. The damage is severe and, in my opinion, simply part of a larger trend. (more…)
