I grew up during a time of great transition in many technologies, including that of music. I was born into the world of 33 1/3 RPM vinyl and quizzically examined the giant 78 rpm of the past. The 70s brought up cassette tapes, 8-track, and early in the 80s, I was one of the first people in town to get a Compact Disc player with money I made from writing for computer magazines. CDs were the last, best gasp for the music industry. I notice CDs even had pretty cool H&S top to foreshadow their demise!
