I’ve Got Gas!
Hi everyone – well, ticker.art is only a week old, but it’s been a great week. We’ve gone from 0 people on Twitter to over 250, and we’ve sold 20 25 of our creations. There’s still plenty of great stuff available, though, and I wanted to offer an extra incentive this weekend.
Specifically, I’ll pay your gas fees. These creations are so cheap, I might even wind up losing money, but it doesn’t matter to me; I want to get ticker.art circulating out there! So all you have to do is forward me your “congratulations” email when you buy a piece and tell me your gas fee, and I’ll reimburse it to whatever wallet address you provide. Take a glance at the site and see if you’d like to get something this weekend, knowing that the gas fee is my problem! But only for this weekend.
(more…)Overnight Success
I don’t think I’ve ever learned so many things, so fast, in my life. I knew zero about NFT a month ago (except to deride it, as most people here still do). Now it’s making a splash! And, hey, I’ll never push Bored Apes or CryptoPunks aside, but it’s a great start! Explore ticker.art and see for yourself. To see us on any list in just a week’s time amazes me, even if it’s 817th place!

Pilgrim’s Progress
I have been absolutely delighted at the success of ticker.art, which is my five-day-old website that sells original NFTs based on ticker symbols. In its very short history, ticker.art has……
- Sold 60% of the pieces it has posted so far (I am truly amazed at this);
- Enjoyed its first resale (which means someone “flipped” an NFT for a personal profit);
- Had its fastest sale ever yesterday (it was Facebook);
- Has garnered over 200 followers on its Twitter feed @tickerart
In fact, one fellow who bought AMD appears to be very ambitious about his own ability to make a profit, but you never can tell……….
