Introducing Ticker.Art!

I’ve been waiting for this day quite a while, and I am glad October 1 is finally here. I am very pleased to introduce to you my new project and website, ticker.art

This is my foray into the NFT world with something utterly original. As the site says, “ticker.art is a series of commissioned art works that takes the most boring and utilitarian of things – – the letters of a stock ticker symbol – – and creates an exciting, original image, inspired by the company behind the symbol.”

Who knows, by bidding on my art pieces at OpenSea, you could be getting in on the ground floor of the next Andy Warhol. Or at least the Andy Warhol of ticker symbols. Most of you have never bid on an NFT before. There’s nothing to it, and this weekend is a great opportunity to learn. Here’s a helpful tutorial.

Documentaries have long been a favorite form of entertainment for me, and I’d like to strongly recommend one to you that I just watched last night. It is about Val Kilmer, and any of you who have Amazon Prime already have free access to it.

Most of us remember Val from the dozens of movies he made in the 1980s and 1990s. He was famous for his mercurial temper as well as his ridiculous good looks:
