There has been some interest bubbling on Slope about NFTs, so I’m educating myself more deeply. I have stumbled upon one of the hot sites around, and again, I must conclude that either (a) I have become an utterly out-of-step fuddy-duddy or (b) the world has gone batshit insane. Allow me to present to you an image which sold recently for nearly $8 million. I would mention as an aside that is what I got for my company, Prophet, back in 2005.
You may find this surprising, but Rambo has always been one of my favorite characters. Sly Stallone co-write Rambo 3, and if the U.S. government had simply watched this clip from the 1998 movie, they could have saved us all way over $2 TRILLION DOLLARS. Just watch:

As a little kid, one of my simple pleasures was Highlights magazine. Most of you probably remember this, since it was a staple at most pediatric and dental offices. One of the creepiest artifacts of pop culture is one you may or may not have heard about already. But back in 1978, on the smarmy Dating Game show, the guy who “won” the date turned out to be a serial killer. He murdered women before and after this appearance, but luckily for the “winner” of this game show, she got the creeps from the guy and backed out of going out with him. Good thing, because she was able to retain, ya know, her head. Anyway, I bring this up because he died today, so someone update the population sign on Hell’s entry gate, please.
