I think I read that, out of the past 17 sessions, 11 of them were triple-digit moves on the Dow. It's therefore no wonder that today seemed like such a snore. Some indexes were down a little (S&P, Dow) and indexes were up a little (Russell, Financial). I have a very large number of positions worth a meaningfully large amount of money, and the net change I experienced would require the Planck Constant to express the percentage move. I'm pretty sure I could get a Subway sandwich with the profits today. Maybe even some chips.
But I'll happily take a few pennies in profits to a loss, so I'll stop complaining right now. Below are some samples of stocks I shorted today. I think I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon trying to get some exercise, so I'll see you later.
